It established in 1986 by Osman Gani, who also happens to be the executive director of the Bangladesh Gayan O Srijonshil Prakashak Samity (Creative Publishers Association of Bangladesh). It has published more than 1300 title books since June 2010. This publication house is renowned for publishing largest number of title book based on 1971 liberation war of Bangladesh. The slogan of this organization is “Moktijodhu o Muktochinta amader prokasona”.As a publication, Agamee Prakashani earned Bangla Academy Book Fair Prize (Best Stall),National Book Center Prize, Agrani Bank Sahitya Puraskar .
